Why is it called your journal when it’s online?
Since I don’t like writing with a pen or a pencil in an actual journal, I decided to start continue with my writing online. I have started multiple blogs about my humorous observations, kept a Word document with all of my story ideas and short stories, and even published multiple notes on Facebook…and I just got tired of being spread too thin.
What kinds of things will I be able to find here in your journal?
This will be my one-stop-shop for all of the pieces I write. I tend to write about a lot of things, but mostly what’s happening around me. Among many observational posts about life and people and the social situations we get ourselves into, you will be on a journey with me as I try to develop a short story novel about the life and times of inanimate objects.
Why is the site so plain?
As well as being a writer, I am also a graphic designer so that means I love designing as much as I do writing. I could probably design a very colorful, dynamic, graphics-heavy blog, but in the end, that would only highlight how well a designer I was. I decided to ditch the fluff and concentrate on my writings. Every post will resemble a chapter of my journal. If it looks like a book to you, then I have accomplished my goal.
